Contemplative Aromatherapy with Gong Immersion

Seasonal Wellbeing

Second and Fourth Thursday of the Month

6:30 - 7:30 pm

$25

Each month will focus on a selection of Essential Oils that highlight seasonal wellbeing from a holistic health perspective. In addition to inhaling their aromas and discussing the properties, morphology and traditional uses of the plants from which these oils are derived, we will explore their histories, legacies and countries of origin to broaden our understanding of their cultural impact.

The Aromatherapy session will be followed by a 20 minute Gong immersion to allow for metabolization of our gathering in a relaxing and contemplative atmosphere.

$120 Single Participant; $20 Each Additional Participant (Limited to 6)

An intimate way to honor a death, a loss, a passing or a transition. These 90 minute ceremonies are crafted to mark the significance of these occasions, offering an interlude of structure and intention during a time of grief or change.

Programs are tailored in consultation with a representative of the group and include a facilitated conversation with participant input and a contemplative Aromatherapy ritual followed by a 20 minute Gong Immersion. The session will end with an opportunity for reflection and a cozy herbal beverage.

Aromatherapy

While most Inhaled Essential Oils are generally safe to use for adults, some participants may be sensitive to specific scents and this can be addressed prior to the gathering. Aromas will not be actively diffused in the room during the program, rather intentionally inhaled from containers that can be opened and closed. Erring on the side of safety, I choose oils for these occasions that are gentle to the respiratory system and store them properly to inhibit oxidation.

Participants should arrive free from alcohol or recreational drug use and aware of their mental/emotional state.
